Phong Tuk Archaeological Site
…Located 38 kilometers south of town on the way to Bangkok and to Wat Dong Sak, is where artifacts of the Amaravati and Dvaravati periods (6th – 7th Century BE) such as a Roman Bronze lamp and Buddha images were found.
Wat Phra Thaen Dong Rang
…The temple which is situated approximately 10 kilometers from ThaRua Market, of some 40 km. from down town. A Buddha’s footprint and a sacred stone which locals believe was a bed for the Lord Buddha during his illness before he ascended to Nirvana. Thee are many Buddha images and a local museum.
